Effective medical practice starts with effective communication

The U.S. Census Bureau predicts that the Hispanic population will almost double by 2060, increasing from a nationwide population of 17% to 31%.  Census data also indicates that most Hispanics still primarily speak Spanish.  Clearly, it has become crucial that health care workers are provided accurate interpreting services for their patients.

Accurate medical interpreting lends a hand to both provider and patient.

CLC Medical Translating Services

Whether it's a pile of patient education brochures, or an app that's being developed, CLC offers accurate medical translations at an affordable price.  CLC charges 15 cents per word for standard (usually 2 week turn-around) medical documents, and 25 cents a word for  a rush job (within the week).  All translations are done remotely, with the client sending a Word, Pages, or PDF document.  CLC prides themselves on attention to detail and helping not only with the translation of a document, but noting where there might be cultural issues to address.  For an additional fee, we also offer to email or text you a voice recording of the document so that you can make sure your client has heard the information, especially if you're unsure of their literacy level. We make sure your medical information is disseminated correctly, and that the meaning of the document is never "lost in translation."
